For new business, musical instruments are covered in the home up to the contents sum insured and do not need to be specified.

For existing policies, your client may need to specify such items as a content if they’re worth over £5000 (up to a maximum of £15,000) depending upon their policy. Please check their policy wording to see if a single article limit applies.
