When telling us the build year of your client's home, you must provide the date that the original building was constructed as the original build year (or the date that the foundations were laid). This doesn't include any renovations that have taken place.

Please note that if any alterations/renovations have been carried out during the life of the policy, your client must let us know so that we can make sure all their details up to date. They will also need to check that the correct number of bedrooms/bathrooms are noted and the sums insured are still the correct level of cover they need.
