After submitting an application to us, we'll start to process it straight away and will send you an email confirmation to let you know once the policy is on risk or if it is pending.
If we've got all the information we need and there's no existing policy, please allow up to two hours for the confirmation email to come through. If you realise you need to change some of the information in the application please wait until you've received email confirmation before contacting us to make the changes.
Pending policies (missing information)
If the policy is pending we'll let you know what information is missing (e.g. start date) and ask you get in touch with us to provide the missing details. Once we've received the missing information, the policy will be placed on risk within one working day and documents sent to the policyholder.
Policyholders with existing policies
Please bear in mind if the policyholder(s) have an existing policy with us, the confirmation email will be delayed until our business processing team have investigated for possible dual insurance.
