If your client cancels their policy or receives a refund, we'll automatically clawback the commission earned from any period of insurance that was not used. This amount will be deducted from your commission payment on the 21st of the next month (commissions are paid 1 month in arrears).

If your commission balance goes into a negative, we'll take the clawback from your next submission (e.g. if your balance is -£10, and you earn £20 commission, only £10 will be paid to correct the balance).

In special cases (e.g. a backdated refund for ineligibility) we do offer the opportunity for you to pay your clawback in one lump sum. In these instances email commissions@paymentshield.co.uk.
