If you own solar panels and they're attached to your home or fixed to the ground within the boundaries of your home, we'd cover them as a fixture and fitting under the buildings section of your policy and replacement would be up to your buildings sum insured.

If your solar panels aren't attached to the home, they'd be covered under the contents section of your policy. This would be restricted between £500 to £1000 depending on your insurance policy.
