If you own solar panels and they're attached to your home or fixed to the ground within the boundaries of your home, we'd cover them as a fixture and fitting under Buildings Insurance and replacement would be up to your buildings sum insured.

If your solar panels aren't attached to the home, they'd be covered under Contents Insurance, under 'contents in the open', for up to £1000.
