A Paymentshield Contents Insurance policy covers tools within your home, but only for personal use.

Tools are not covered under:

-Personal possessions (as tools wouldn't normally be carried with you)

Or for:

-Business or trade purposes.

If you have any rented tools, they can be insured under the policy, as long as you have the documentation to prove you're legally responsible for the tools. For example, a hire agreement.
